Product Description

The Tractel Blocstop™ BSO 2360 Automatic Overspeed Braking System is a high-capacity safety device that has been engineered specifically for man-riding and personnel lifting applications where dependable fall protection is essential. Designed for use with 5/8 in. (16.3 mm) wire rope, this system supports loads up to 5,060 lbs (2,300 kg) and provides reliable overspeed braking to help prevent uncontrolled descent during vertical access operations.

The BSO 2360 continuously monitors descent speed and automatically activates the braking mechanism if overspeed or unsafe movement is detected. The immediate mechanical response arrests any unwanted downward motion, significantly imprtoving workers safety in critical lifting situations. Its fully mechanical design requires no electrical power, and gives users consistent performance in various environments.

Optimized for man-riding systems, the Blocstop BSO 2360 works flawlessly with compatible hoists and access equipment. This gives users smooth rope travel during regular operation while remaining ready to engage instantly in emergency conditions. The rugged, compact housing supports both temporary and permanent installations and is built to withstand demanding jobsite environments.

Made for heavy-duty personnel lifting, suspended work platforms, industrial maintenance, and vertical access applications. The BSO 2360 gives operators proven overspeed protection that is backed by Tractel’s long-standing expertise in safety and lifting solutions. The simple installation and low-maintenance design helps to reduce downtime while maintaining high safety standards.
