Product Description

The Tractel Blocstop™ BSO 500 Automatic Overspeed Braking System is a critical safety component that has been designed to give operators instant fall protection for man-riding and vertical access applications. Engineered for use with 5/16 in. (8.4 mm) wire rope. This system gives you dependable braking performance for loads up to 1,500 lbs (680 kg). This helps by protecting personnel and equipment during lifting operations.

The BSO 500 continuously monitors descent speed and automatically engages the braking mechanism if overspeed conditions are detected. The rapid response immediately arrests downward movement. This helps by preventing uncontrolled descent and significantly reduces the risk of injuies or system failure.
