9" HDPE Post Upright Rack Protector
Handle-It HDPE Rack Upright Protector“ SKU: PEP-9
Protect your warehouse racking system from costly impact damage with the Handle-It PEP-9 HDPE Rack Upright Protector. Designed as an economical and easy-to-install safety solution, this heavy-duty plastic guard helps shield pallet rack uprights from collisions caused by forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment commonly found in busy warehouse environments.
Rack upright damage is one of the leading causes of warehouse maintenance costs and storage system failures. Even minor impacts can weaken rack integrity, compromise safety, and lead to expensive repairs or inventory loss. The Handle-It PEP-9 provides dependable lower-level impact protection to help preserve the structural stability of pallet rack systems while improving workplace safety.
Manufactured from durable HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), this rack protector is engineered to absorb and deflect impacts in high-traffic warehouse aisles and storage areas. Unlike painted metal guards, the PEP-9 features a molded safety yellow color throughout the material, eliminating concerns about paint chipping, flaking, or corrosion over time.
The protector is designed to easily snap onto standard 3" x 3" rack posts, allowing for quick installation without complicated mounting procedures. For added security, the guard is reinforced with a bolt fastening system that helps reduce sliding or accidental dislodgement during daily warehouse operations.
Its compact 9-inch height provides targeted protection at the most vulnerable area of the rack upright” the base where forklift impacts most commonly occur. This makes the PEP-9 an ideal solution for warehouses, fulfillment centers, manufacturing facilities, and distribution operations looking for affordable rack protection without sacrificing durability or visibility.
Whether you are upgrading warehouse safety measures or protecting new pallet racking installations, the Handle-It PEP-9 HDPE Upright Protector offers a reliable and low-maintenance solution for extending rack life and reducing operational damage.
Features & Benefits Helps protect pallet rack uprights from forklift impacts Durable HDPE construction for long-lasting performance Economical alternative to steel rack protectors Easy snap-on installation design Bolt-secured to help prevent sliding or dislodgement Safety yellow color will not chip or flake Protects rack bases in high-traffic warehouse areas Low-maintenance industrial safety solution Ideal for warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities
