12" Shallow Profile Post Protectors
Handle-It® Shallow Profile Post Protector“ SKU: P12-SP
Protect warehouse racking and facility structures from costly forklift and pallet handling damage with the Handle-It® Shallow Profile Post Protector. Designed as an economical yet highly effective safety solution, the P12-SP helps shield pallet rack uprights, shelving posts, partitions, and other vulnerable warehouse structures from accidental impacts in busy material handling environments.
Ideal for facilities using pallet racking systems with non-standard baseplates, the Handle-It® Shallow Profile Protector offers dependable protection while maintaining a compact footprint. Its low-profile design fits closely in front of the upright being protected, helping preserve valuable aisle space while still providing strong impact resistance against forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other moving equipment.
Manufactured from durable 5mm thick steel, the P12-SP is engineered to withstand demanding warehouse and industrial conditions. The reinforced design helps absorb and deflect collision force before damage reaches the rack upright or structural support. By reducing direct impact damage, this protector helps extend the life of storage systems, improve workplace safety, and reduce costly maintenance and repair expenses.
The simple 2-anchor mounting system allows for quick installation directly into concrete floors using 1/2-inch wedge anchors (sold separately). Its efficient design provides strong, reliable protection without the bulk of larger rack guards, making it an excellent choice for narrow aisles and space-sensitive applications.
Finished in Handle-It"s signature high-visibility yellow powder coat, the protector increases awareness for forklift operators and helps improve overall warehouse safety. The standard 12-inch height provides targeted lower-level protection where most rack impacts occur, while optional 18-inch models are available for additional coverage.
Perfect for warehouses, fulfillment centers, manufacturing plants, and distribution facilities, the Handle-It® P12-SP delivers dependable industrial-grade rack protection for high-traffic material handling operations.
