The OZSR050-15CH Spark Resistant Chain Hoist is purpose-built for maximum safety and dependability in hazardous or explosive environments. With a 5-ton (10,000 lbs) load capacity and a 15-foot lift height, this heavy-duty hoist ensures smooth, reliable lifting performance while adhering to the most stringent international safety standards. It’s specifically engineered for industries where combustible gases, vapors, or dust particles are present, such as chemical plants, oil refineries, paint facilities, and grain processing operations.

Designed in accordance with the EU ATEX94/9/EC and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, the OZSR050-15CH meets an explosion-proof rating of EX II2 GD c IIIC T135°C. This certification makes it suitable for use in Zone 1 & 2 (gas) and Zone 21 & 22 (dust) classified areas. Each component is built to prevent spark generation, ensuring maximum safety and compliance in hazardous locations.

Constructed with spark-resistant materials, including bronze hooks, brass gears, and stainless steel components, this hoist minimizes friction and static buildup that could cause ignition. The Grade 80 stainless steel load chain delivers exceptional strength and corrosion resistance, providing consistent performance even in harsh industrial environments.

The Weston-style mechanical load brake system, equipped with twin pawl protection, ensures precise control and dependable load holding during lifting and lowering. Warranty Information  
OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R) guarantees its products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the length of the warranty period listed in the product's operator's manual, though this warranty does not apply to products showing signs of misuse, overloading, alteration, improper maintenance, or negligence, and excludes normal wear and tear of moving parts - defined as brake discs, wire rope, and other wear components subject to use conditions - as well as any costs related to product removal, lost time, or other incidental or consequential damages arising from a claimed defect. If a product fails during the warranty period due to defective materials or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced at OZ Lifting Products' discretion, provided the product is returned prepaid, along with proof of purchase, to an authorized warranty depot; repaired products are returned to the customer free of charge, but if no defect is found, the customer bears the return shipping cost, and the product's warranty coverage continues only for the remainder of the original warranty period. It is the operator's responsibility to ensure the product is used in accordance with all applicable local codes, regulations, and safety standards, and OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R) assumes no liability for damages or injuries resulting from improper use, nor will it be held liable for injuries to persons or property, death, or incidental, consequential, or contingent damages - whether arising from negligent or deliberate use - as it remains the owner's sole responsibility to install and operate the products properly and safely. This warranty is OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R)'s only written warranty, issued in lieu of all other warranties implied by law, including merchantability and fitness, and no other express or implied warranty or guarantee is authorized for products sold by the company. Additionally, OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R) reserves the right to alter the design of or discontinue production of any product without prior notice.
