Overload Link “ SKU: 624 The Secondary Safety Component That Keeps Your Hoist Functional After an Overload Event Every Lug-All web strap hoist is built with a two-tier overload protection system in the handle socket assembly. While the stress link is the component designed to break first, the Overload Link (SKU: 624) is the equally critical secondary safety component that holds the handle assembly together after the stress link activates ” keeping your hoist functional so you can safely release the load. This overload link is compatible with Lug-All hoist models 25-A, 25-B, 25-i, 2-A, 2-B, 35-A, 3-A, 3-B, 40-A, 4-A, 4-B, and 500-A-FH ” the most broadly compatible overload protection part in the Lug-All web strap hoist lineup, spanning ¼-ton through 2-ton capacity across small, medium, and Lightweight frame configurations. Lug-All The overload link has elongated holes that allow enough movement for the stress link to snap under overload conditions, while still holding the handle socket assembly together. This means that even after the stress link breaks, the hoist remains functional ” the load can still be safely released and the hoist taken out of service for repair. This is intentional by design: the overload link's higher structural threshold ensures the entire handle system doesn't fail catastrophically when overloaded. The overload link can endure a much higher overload force than the stress link because it is designed to keep the hoist functional under a load great enough to break the stress link. The EHP GroupThe EHP Group This is precisely why the overload link must never be substituted for a stress link. Attempting to use two overload links instead of one stress link and one overload link provides excessive strength and eliminates the safety valve action of the handle, which can cause extensive damage to the hoist. The two-component system must be maintained as designed: one stress link (which breaks at 125% of rated capacity), paired with one overload link (which holds the assembly together afterward). The EHP Group Unlike the stress link ” which ships with two replacements included with every new Lug-All web strap hoist ” a spare overload link is not supplied with your hoist. If you need to replace your overload link for any reason, you will need to purchase that part separately. Keeping a SKU 624 on hand is a simple, inexpensive precaution that can save significant downtime if the overload link ever becomes damaged, deformed, or lost during a repair. The EHP Group

Critical Safety Notice The overload link must always be used in combination with the stress link ” never as a substitute for it. The stress link is the component designed to break at 125% of rated capacity; the overload link is the component designed to keep the assembly intact afterward. Once the stress link has been replaced and the hoist is reassembled correctly, regular use can resume. The EHP Group Order SKU 624 today and ensure your Lug-All hoist's two-tier overload protection system is complete and ready for work.
