Lug-All 616 - Web Strap
Web Strap “ SKU: 616 The Load-Bearing Heart of Your 1-Ton and ½-Ton Lug-All Hoist ” Replace It Right The web strap is the single component in your hoist that directly bears the weight of every load you lift, pull, or tension. When it wears out, replacing it with the correct OEM strap isn't just a maintenance decision ” it's a safety decision. The Web Strap (SKU: 616) is the genuine replacement strap engineered specifically for three Lug-All web strap hoists that share the same small frame drum and strap profile. This web strap is compatible with Lug-All hoist models 2-A, 2-B, and 1000-A, with a net weight of 0.432 lbs and a length of 10 feet. Utility Pipe Supply Here's what each compatible model delivers:
2-A ” Industrial-grade 1-ton web strap come along: 1,000 lbs single line / 2,000 lbs double line, 10 ft strap. Lug-All 2-B ” Same 1-ton capacity as the 2-A, with hot-stick rings added for electrical lineman work. Kentonbethany 1000-A ” ½-ton Lug-All Lightweight hoist: 1,000 lbs single line capacity, 10 ft strap. Mitchell Instrument
The straps on Lug-All web strap hoists are made of woven polyester, which has dielectric properties that make them extremely poor conductors. While these straps are not true insulators, they can be safer for linemen to use around live electricity than wire rope hoists, which are highly conductive. Hoists Direct However, those dielectric properties don't last indefinitely. The dielectric properties of web strap can fade over time due to moisture, dirt, changes in temperature, and other factors. To maintain as many dielectric properties as possible, it is important to keep the strap as clean and dry as possible, as direct sunlight can also degrade the strap over time. Beyond dielectric concerns, physical wear through regular use ” abrasion, UV exposure, stress cycling, and field contamination ” all reduce strap integrity. A worn or damaged strap must be replaced before the hoist is returned to service. Tallman Equipment Rather than replacing the entire hoist when the strap wears out, replacing the web strap itself is an easy way to save time and money while restoring the hoist to full working condition. The SKU 616 strap is the correct OEM-dimensioned replacement, precisely matched to the drum anchor hole spacing, guide width, and web-end assembly of the 2-A, 2-B, and 1000-A. Hoists Direct
