713 - Web Strap
SKU: 713 | Web Strap ” Compatible with Lug-All Model 35-A (1-1/2-Ton Web Strap Hoist) Restore Your Hoist's Full Lifting Power with the Correct OEM Web Strap for the 35-A Your web strap is not just a component ” it is the active load-bearing element of your hoist on every single operation, and its condition directly determines the safety and reliability of every lift, pull, and tensioning task you perform. The SKU 713 Web Strap is the genuine OEM replacement strap manufactured specifically for the Lug-All model 35-A, a lightweight industrial-grade 1-1/2-ton web strap come along ratchet winch hoist featuring 15 feet of web strap at 1,500 lbs in single-line configuration, or 7 feet 6 inches of strap at 3,000 lbs in double-line configuration. When your strap is worn, damaged, or has degraded beyond safe service life, this is the exact replacement your 35-A was designed to use. Lug-All Lug-All web straps are not ordinary lifting straps ” they are purpose-engineered for the specific demands of utility and industrial hoisting applications. The straps on Lug-All web strap hoists are made of woven polyester, which has dielectric properties that make them extremely poor conductors. This characteristic is the reason electrical linemen around the world choose web strap hoists over wire rope alternatives when working on or near energized power lines. While these straps are not true insulators, they can be safer for linemen to use around live electricity than wire rope hoists, which are highly conductive. For utility crews working in bucket trucks or underground installations, this distinction can be genuinely life-saving. Lug-AllLug-All However, this protection is not permanent. The dielectric properties of the strap can fade over time due to moisture, dirt, changes in temperature, and other factors. A strap that looks intact may no longer provide the same level of dielectric safety it did when new ” making scheduled replacement an essential part of responsible hoist maintenance, particularly for utility applications. Only a genuine OEM replacement strap manufactured from the correct woven polyester specification can restore the full dielectric and load-bearing properties your model 35-A was designed to deliver. Lug-All Dimensional accuracy matters just as much as material quality. The SKU 713 strap is cut, stitched, and looped to the precise specifications required for the 35-A's drum width, drum anchor configuration, web end assembly, and pulley block routing. All Lug-All web strap hoists are designed with a double flanged drum to protect the strap ” but that drum protection only functions correctly when the strap is the right width for the drum barrel. An incorrectly sized strap can ride up over the flanges, contact the ratchet teeth, and suffer accelerated damage or sudden failure under load. Lug-All Lug-All Web Strap Hoists meet ANSI B30.21 specifications and are tested to 125 percent of their rated load, and every OEM replacement strap is manufactured to support that certified performance level throughout the replacement strap's full service life. Lug-All Lug-All hoists are used internationally by utilities and utility service companies, typically in bucket trucks or for underground utility work, as well as by industrial maintenance professionals across construction, manufacturing, forestry, and rigging. How to Know When Your 35-A Web Strap Needs Replacing Inspect your web strap before every use. Replace it immediately if you notice any of the following: fraying or cut fibers, burns or heat damage, chemical staining or discoloration, embedded grit or contaminants that cannot be removed, loss of flexibility, thinning of the strap width or body, or fading of the Lug-All branding. Like many tools, web strap hoists can wear out over time ” when the strap wears out, you can save time and money by replacing the web strap itself rather than replacing the entire hoist. For utility workers operating near energized equipment, establish a routine replacement schedule based on usage frequency and environmental exposure ” do not rely solely on visual inspection to assess dielectric condition. Lug-All This web strap is compatible with the Lug-All model 35-A only. Strap dimensions are specific to each model ” do not substitute straps between models. Please verify your hoist model number before ordering.
