Tie Bar “ SKU: 675 The Structural Brace That Maintains Handle Rigidity on Lug-All's 3-Ton Telescoping Handle The Lug-All model 6000-15 is the only hoist in the Lug-All lineup with a telescoping handle ” and that telescoping capability requires a dedicated structural component to maintain rigidity and alignment across its full extension range. The Tie Bar (SKU: 675) is the genuine OEM replacement brace that locks the 6000-15's two-tube handle assembly together, ensuring the handle performs as a single rigid lever from 37.5 to 57 inches of extension. This tie bar is compatible with Lug-All model 6000-15 only. Hercules Lifting The Lug-All model 6000-15 is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade 3-ton cable come along hoist ” delivering 3,000 lbs in single line with 15 feet of cable, or 6,000 lbs in double line with 7 feet 6 inches of cable. ShoreLandr The 6000-15's proprietary telescoping handle extends from 37.5 to 57 inches in seconds, yet remains reversible like all other Lug-All hoist handles ” and for additional leverage when lowering or backing off a load, the handle socket can be repositioned to a second position on the U-frame. At 57 inches of extended length bearing the force required to move 3,000 lbs in single line ” requiring up to 139 lbs of pulling force at the handle tip ” the handle tubes are subjected to significant bending stress and lateral flex. The tie bar is the cross-member that spans between the two handle tubes, preventing them from spreading or flexing relative to each other and maintaining the parallel alignment required for smooth, predictable telescoping action. GME Supply The tie bar is secured to the handle tubes by the Tie Bar Screw (Part #676) ” a paired component that must be properly torqued to keep the brace seated against both tubes simultaneously. The tie bar screw (Part #676) is used specifically with the tie bar (Part #675) on the 6000-15, and both parts are exclusive to this model. A loose or missing tie bar allows the handle tubes to flex and separate, creating unpredictable handle behavior at the worst possible moment ” under full 3-ton load. Lug-All The 6000-15's handle is designed to bend at 125 to 150 percent of rated capacity as a visible overload warning ” but that engineering feature assumes a handle that is structurally intact and properly braced. A handle without a serviceable tie bar cannot deliver that controlled overload response. Lug-All Using authentic Lug-All replacement parts means sustaining the original design integrity of your unit ” the cast-aluminum structure, robust pawl assemblies, and reliable hardware that make Lug-All hoists a trusted choice in demanding industrial, construction, and utility settings.
