The Tractel Blocstop™ BSO 2550 Automatic Overspeed Braking System is a heavy-duty safety device that is engineered to gives users reliable fall protection for high-capacity man-riding and vertical access applications. Specifically designed for use with 9/16 in. (14.2 mm) wire rope. This system supports loads up to 5,500 lbs (2,500 kg) and is optimized for compatibility with the tirak™ XE2553P man-riding hoist.

The BSO 2550 continuously monitors descent speed and automatically engages the braking mechanism if overspeed or unsafe movement is detected.
