Product Description

The Tractel Blocstop™ BSO 2050 Automatic Overspeed Braking System is a high-capacity safety device engineered to provide operators with reliable fall protection in man-riding and vertical access applications. Designed for use with 9/16 in. (14.2 mm) wire rope. This system supports loads up to 4,400 lbs (2,000 kg) and gives users dependable overspeed braking in demanding personnel lifting environments.

The BSO 2050 continuously monitors descent speed and automatically activates the braking mechanism when overspeed or unsafe movement is detected. The devices immediate mechanical response arrests downward motion, and helps to prevent any uncontrolled descent and protects both personnel and equipment. Its fully mechanical design requires no electrical power, ensuring consistent and dependable performance in industrial, construction, and hazardous locations.

Engineered for compatibility with Tractel tirak™ man-riding hoists and access systems.
