Each unit combines a weighted base plate, post, and pin, and carries 3/16 in galvanized wire rope with aluminum pennants (the 102 ft cable is SKU 400726). On flat commercial roofs, the line is placed with a 15 ft setback from the edge per OSHA requirements, with stanchions spaced 25 ft or less apart. The system suits flat and low-sloped roofs up to a 1:12 pitch and can also be used at ground level around restricted access zones. Counterweight kits are required at corners or angle changes.
