The OZSR005-15CH Spark Resistant Chain Hoist is specifically engineered for safe, dependable lifting in hazardous or explosive environments, delivering a 0.5-ton (1,000 lbs) capacity with exceptional precision, control, and durability. Designed to meet the strictest international safety and performance standards, this hoist is ideal for operations where explosive gases, vapors, or dust are present—such as in oil refineries, chemical processing plants, paint manufacturing, power generation, and food or grain storage facilities.

Built for spark resistance and explosion-proof protection, the OZSR005-15CH is fully compliant with the EU ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. It meets the explosion-proof classification EX II2 GD c IIIC T135°C, making it suitable for use in Zone 1 & 2 (gas) and Zone 21 & 22 (dust) hazardous atmospheres. Each component is designed and constructed to minimize the risk of sparks or ignition, ensuring complete safety even in environments where flammable materials are present.

The hoist features all-steel construction for unmatched durability and resistance to wear. Its spark-resistant bronze-coated hooks, stainless steel load chain, and non-sparking gears provide a high level of protection while maintaining smooth, efficient operation. The grade 80 stainless steel chain resists corrosion and delivers consistent performance in challenging industrial conditions.

A Weston-style mechanical brake system with a twin pawl design ensures superior load control and holding power, giving operators peace of mind during critical lifts. Warranty Information  
OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R) guarantees its products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the length of the warranty period listed in the product's operator's manual, though this warranty does not apply to products showing signs of misuse, overloading, alteration, improper maintenance, or negligence, and excludes normal wear and tear of moving parts - defined as brake discs, wire rope, and other wear components subject to use conditions - as well as any costs related to product removal, lost time, or other incidental or consequential damages arising from a claimed defect. If a product fails during the warranty period due to defective materials or workmanship, it will be repaired or replaced at OZ Lifting Products' discretion, provided the product is returned prepaid, along with proof of purchase, to an authorized warranty depot; repaired products are returned to the customer free of charge, but if no defect is found, the customer bears the return shipping cost, and the product's warranty coverage continues only for the remainder of the original warranty period. It is the operator's responsibility to ensure the product is used in accordance with all applicable local codes, regulations, and safety standards, and OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R) assumes no liability for damages or injuries resulting from improper use, nor will it be held liable for injuries to persons or property, death, or incidental, consequential, or contingent damages - whether arising from negligent or deliberate use - as it remains the owner's sole responsibility to install and operate the products properly and safely. This warranty is OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R)'s only written warranty, issued in lieu of all other warranties implied by law, including merchantability and fitness, and no other express or implied warranty or guarantee is authorized for products sold by the company. Additionally, OZ Lifting Products, LLC(R) reserves the right to alter the design of or discontinue production of any product without prior notice.
