742 - Fist Grip Clamps
SKU: 742 | Fist Grip Clamps (Set of Two) ” Compatible with Lug-All Models 1500-25 and 125-R (3/4-Ton Cable Hoists) Secure Your Cable Termination with Professional-Grade Fist Grip Clamps ” Sold as a Correct Two-Piece Set A properly terminated cable is the foundation of safe hoist operation ” and fist grip clamps are the most reliable, installer-friendly way to achieve it. The SKU 742 Fist Grip Clamps are sold as a set of two ” the minimum required for a correct and safe cable termination ” and are designed as OEM-matched hardware for two of Lug-All's capable 3/4-ton cable hoists: the model 1500-25, an industrial-grade 3/4-ton cable come along ratchet winch hoist with 25 feet of cable at 750 lbs single-line or 12 feet 6 inches at 1,500 lbs double-line, and the model 125-R, a 3/4-ton cable come along hoist featuring rapid lowering that allows the hoist to lower four times faster than other models ” sharing the same cable diameter and termination hardware requirements. Whether you are re-terminating after a cable replacement, replacing corroded or deformed clamps, or stocking up on essential maintenance hardware, this set gives you everything needed for one complete, code-correct termination. Lug-AllLug-All The fist grip style consists of two saddles and heavy hex nuts, and its unique mirrored design means you can install the clamps in any orientation relative to the live and dead ends of the rope ” completely eliminating the most dangerous installation mistake associated with traditional U-bolt wire rope clips. The flat saddle surfaces prevent rope crushing, maintain rope integrity, and provide superior holding power, making fist grip clamps the preferred hardware for precision cable hoists where load security is paramount. Because there is only one nut on each side, you can swing a wrench in a full arc while tightening ” making installation faster and more efficient, an important advantage when working in tight or elevated spaces. US Cargo Control + 2 For a correct termination on a 5/16" wire rope, a minimum of two clips per termination is required ” which is precisely why this part is packaged as a set of two, ensuring you have the full complement needed for one safe, complete cable end termination right out of the box. All Lug-All cable hoists are made in the USA using 7x19 aircraft cable and are designed with an aluminum alloy main frame with open construction for easy cleaning and maintenance ” and the fist grip clamps in this set are matched to that cable specification to ensure a secure, high-integrity termination. Rigging WarehouseLug-All Lug-All cable hoists also include a handle that is designed to bend at 125 to 150 percent of the rated capacity, protecting the user and equipment ” a built-in overload protection feature that works in tandem with a correctly terminated cable end. Regular maintenance and inspection of hoist components are essential for safe and efficient operation, and addressing wear or deterioration promptly contributes to the longevity and reliability of the entire hoist system. Why This Set Works for Both the 1500-25 and the 125-R Both the 1500-25 and the 125-R are industrial-grade 3/4-ton cable hoists sharing identical cable specifications and capacity ratings ” the 125-R's rapid lowering feature is a mechanical function of the handle and pawl system, not the cable or its termination hardware. This means both models use the same cable diameter and require the same fist grip clamp specification for correct end termination, making SKU 742 the right replacement choice for owners of either hoist. Fist grip clamps are optimized for quick and secure clamping action, engineered for easy installation and robust clamping force ” perfect for securing cables in heavy-duty environments. Lug-AllMurphy Lift This part is compatible with Lug-All models 1500-25 and 125-R only. Always match clamp size to cable diameter and follow manufacturer torque specifications during installation. Please verify your hoist model number before ordering.
