The Malta Dynamics C1000 High Strength Steel Locking Carabiner is a rugged, professional-grade connector designed for dependable performance in demanding fall protection and industrial safety applications. Engineered for workers who require secure, reliable connections at height, this heavy-duty steel carabiner provides the strength, durability, and ease of use needed for construction, roofing, utility work, tower climbing, industrial maintenance, and general fall arrest systems.

Built from high-strength steel, the C1000 is designed to withstand tough jobsite environments while maintaining long-term performance under repeated daily use. Its robust construction delivers a minimum tensile strength of 5,000 lbs., making it an ideal connector for anchorage systems, self-retracting lifelines (SRLs), shock-absorbing lanyards, vertical lifelines, and other personal fall arrest system (PFAS) components. Whether connecting to anchor points, harness D-rings, or positioning systems, this locking carabiner provides the dependable connection workers need when safety is critical.

The Malta Dynamics C1000 features a self-closing and self-locking gate mechanism that helps prevent accidental disengagement while improving overall worker safety. Designed for fast, efficient handling, the carabiner can be opened with one hand, allowing workers to make secure connections quickly while wearing gloves or operating in challenging environments. The ANSI-tested gate is rated to withstand loads up to 3,600 lbs. (16 kN), providing added security and confidence during use.

Its compact yet heavy-duty design makes the C1000 easy to carry and maneuver without sacrificing strength. The wide 1-inch gate opening accommodates a variety of anchor points and connection hardware, making it highly versatile across multiple industries and fall protection systems. From steel erection and scaffolding work to confined space entry and rooftop maintenance, this carabiner is built to perform wherever dependable safety equipment is required.

Tested to meet ANSI Z359.12-2009 and ANSI A10.32-12 standards while remaining OSHA compliant, the Malta Dynamics C1000 High Strength Steel Locking Carabiner delivers the durability, compliance, and ease of operation professionals demand. When secure fall protection connections matter most, this carabiner provides the strength and reliability your crew can trust every day on the job.
