Tractel Stopcable Detachable Traveller with Autolocking Carabiner – Model LT38E

The Tractel Stopcable Detachable Traveller (Model LT38E) is specifically designed to work with the Stopcable ladder safety system’s 3⁄8 in. (9.5 mm) wire rope, providing a high level of fall‑protection mobility and safety for personnel ascending or descending fixed vertical ladders. This detachable traveler comes complete with an auto-locking carabiner and energy absorber, allowing the user to clip in, climb, descend, and transition points on ladders quickly — while maintaining continuous protection. The integrated energy absorber helps reduce fall arrest forces, while the auto-locking carabiner ensures a secure connection to the traveler's body.

The system supports hands‑free vertical movement, allowing full use of both hands for climbing, access, and egress operations. It’s ideal for industrial, utility, tower, structural‑access or confined‑space ladder systems where a fixed wire‑rope lifeline is used. The detachable nature of the traveller allows it to be removed from the cable as needed for maintenance or inspection, then reattached easily without requiring system dismantlement.
