Product Description

The Tractel Blocstop™ BS 20.301 Safety Device is a heavy-duty fall arrest solution that has been engineered to provide reliable, automatic protection for personnel lifting and vertical access systems. Designed for use with 7/16 in. (11.5 mm) wire rope, this device supports loads up to 3,000 lbs (1,360 kg) and is ideal for demanding man-riding and suspended work applications where safety and performance are critical.

Operating independently from the primary hoisting system, the BS 20.301 continuously monitors rope movement. The device automatically locks onto the wire rope in the event of any overspeed, slack rope, or sudden load acceleration. This immediate response helps to prevent any uncontrolled descents and greatly reduces the risk of injuries or equipment damage. Because the locking mechanism is entirely mechanical, the device requires no electrical power, ensuring dependable operation even in harsh or remote environments.

The devices design allows for easy integration into new or existing Tractel access systems, including man-riding hoists and vertical lifeline configurations. The device moves smoothly along the wire rope with minimal resistance. This gives users seamless protection without disrupting productivity.
