It provides freestanding, non-penetrating, passive fall protection for leading edge hazards, and when work is finished the railing folds down out of public view without dismantling the system, helping preserve sight lines on visible rooflines. Because no holes are required in the roof or substrate, the system offers a straightforward way to guard areas that need only occasional access. Safety Rail Company states the Hide-A-Rail system is tested and independently certified in accordance with OSHA guardrail regulations. This section has a galvanized finish, and the manufacturer recommends pairing it with an SRC mobile toeboard of the same length where a toeboard is needed.
