It guards openings in front of elevated loading dock doors, shipping bays, mezzanines, machine centers, and other restricted access areas, and lets dock doors stay open while keeping workers protected. This nominal 4 ft model provides a 48.5 in clear opening, with a total length of 70 in closed and 120.5 in open, and it can be mounted to slide right or left. Integrated handles aid operation, and the closed gate provides a 42.5 in top rail and 21 in mid rail. It mounts to concrete or bar grating and needs clear floor space beside the gate.
