Handle Socket “ SKU: 673 The Dual-Position Handle Interface That Powers ” and Protects ” Your 3-Ton Lug-All On the Lug-All model 6000-15, the handle socket isn't just the connection point between your handle and the U-frame ” it's an active feature of the hoist's ergonomics, safety system, and operational flexibility. The Handle Socket (SKU: 673) is the genuine OEM replacement handle socket engineered exclusively for the 6000-15, the most powerful and fully featured come-along hoist in the Lug-All lineup. This handle socket is compatible with Lug-All model 6000-15 only, and it houses the shear pin between the handle socket and U-frame that is designed to break audibly if the hoist becomes overloaded ” protecting the user and equipment before the handle bends or structural damage occurs. Lug-All The Lug-All model 6000-15 is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade 3-ton cable come along hoist ” delivering 3,000 lbs in single line with 15 feet of cable, or 6,000 lbs in double line with 7 feet 6 inches of cable. ShoreLandr What sets the 6000-15 handle socket apart from all other Lug-All handle socket components is its dual-position design. The handle socket on the 6000-15 can be changed to a second position ” this provides additional leverage when lowering or backing off a load, and can also increase maneuverability in tight spaces where the standard handle position creates clearance problems. This is a feature unique to the 6000-15 and is made possible by the socket's large-frame geometry and dual-bore configuration ” something that cannot be replicated by substituting a socket from any other Lug-All model. GME Supply The handle socket also works in direct conjunction with the shear pin overload protection system. The shear pin breaks audibly when the hoist is overloaded ” and the come-along remains operational after the shear pin breaks, so the load can be reduced as soon as possible before the hoist handle bends, further protecting the equipment investment. The handle socket is the housing through which the shear pin passes into the U-frame ” which is why a damaged or deformed socket can prevent the shear pin from seating correctly, undermining this critical safety function. The EHP Group The 6000-15 features a telescoping handle that extends from 37.5 to 57 inches for added leverage at 3-ton capacity ” and the handle socket is the component that anchors that telescoping handle assembly to the U-frame pivot point. Lug-All Using authentic Lug-All replacement parts means sustaining the original design integrity of your unit ” the cast-aluminum structure, robust pawl assemblies, and reliable hardware that make Lug-All hoists a trusted choice in demanding industrial, construction, and utility settings.
