Fiberglass Handle W/Hot Stick Ring “ SKU: 633 The Model 2-B's OEM Safety Handle ” Engineered for Linemen Working Near Energized Lines When you're working as an electrical lineman, your hoist's handle isn't just a mechanical component ” it's an active part of your personal safety system. The Fiberglass Handle W/Hot Stick Ring (SKU: 633) is the genuine OEM replacement handle built exclusively for the Lug-All model 2-B hot stick web strap ratchet winch hoist, combining non-conductive fiberglass construction with an integrated hot stick ring for remote, one-hand operation near live equipment. This fiberglass handle with hot stick ring is compatible with Lug-All model 2-B only. Replacement handles quickly install with a new groove pin, a 1/8-inch punch, and a hammer. Lug-All groove pin part number 517 must be purchased separately. Lug-All The Lug-All model 2-B is an industrial-grade 1-ton web strap come along ratchet winch hoist featuring double or single line lift capabilities, equipped with hot-stick rings for electrical lineman work. When used as a single line hoist, it has 10 feet of web strap and a 1,000-pound capacity. As a double line hoist, it has 5 feet of web strap and a 2,000-pound capacity. The 2-B has a standard handle length of 32 inches. Lug-AllCustom Truck The fiberglass construction of the SKU 633 handle provides two critical advantages for linemen. First, fiberglass is non-conductive ” offering inherent dielectric properties that make it substantially safer than metal handles when working in proximity to energized power lines. Second, fiberglass is lighter than comparable steel, reducing operator fatigue during extended overhead work in bucket trucks or from elevated platforms. The integrated hot stick ring at the tip of the handle is what defines the 2-B's field identity. Lug-All hot stick models are equipped with hot stick levers, rings, and hot stick latches specifically for remote operation using approved hot line tools ” and this handle's ring is the point of engagement for that remote operation. It allows the operator to actuate the hoist's reversing function without direct hand contact with the handle body ” an essential capability when working around live conductors with heavy insulated gloves. eBay The handle also integrates with the hoist's stress link overload protection system ” the exclusive breakable stress link breaks at 125 percent of rated capacity, signaling the operator of an overload condition before the fiberglass handle or the load-bearing parts of the hoist become damaged. A damaged or broken handle must be replaced immediately with the correct OEM part before the hoist is returned to service. The EHP Group
